Golf Players

KBDF is proud to support Special Olympics of Ga. in their state-wide Golf Program. Dave Davis, a certified Special Olympics Golf Coach and volunteer trainer, helps certify golf coaches and provide training support for teams throughout the state along with helping organize and host 2 statewide Special Olympic Open Golf Tournaments.

Congratulations to the following Golfers and Partners who attended this year's National Special Olympics Golf Tournament held at Crestview Country Club in Wichita, Kansas.
Josh Stephenson and his partner/assistant Chris Stephenson - Gold Medal in Level 5 Individual Stroke Play,
Sonny Rodriguez with unified partner Nate Rodriquez - Gold Medal in Level 3  18 hole Alternate Shot
              Eric Davis with unified partner Dave Davis - Participation award in Level 3 18 hole alternate shot
Matthew Townsend - 2nd place Level 1 Skills Competition Division M4

THE KATHY B. DAVIS FOUNDATION, a 501c3 organization, was established in 2011 in memory of Kathy Davis, a loving wife to her husband, Dave, devoted mother to her sons, Chris, Eric and Matt, and passionate advocate for people with intellectual and developmental challenges.  To honor her legacy, Dave established the foundation with a single mission:

"To support and create life enhancing opportunities for individuals with intellectual/developmental challenges.”
